About Us

This Web Site is principally the work of one individual, Father John M. Joyce, a retired priest of the Diocese of Orange in California. While he is assisted by a number of other individuals, he assumes the chief blame, or credit, for what the Web Site presents. Father Joyce was ordained in 1954 for the Diocese of Oklahoma City-Tulsa. Over the years he has been pastor in four Catholic parishes, the editor of a diocesan and a national Catholic newspaper, and the author of books and programs in the field of adult religious education.

Father Joyce is an individual who searches diligently for Signs of Hope in and through the Catholic community. In this Web Site he is attempting to share some of his discoveries with all who care to identify the same realities and encouragements.

The Web Site also provides an opportunity for interested parties to share their views on a number of current events of importance. The views are those of the individuals who attach their names to them, and not necessarily the views of Father Joyce or this Web Site.
